Verifying the authenticity of printed credentials or certificates is often slow and manual, while digital verification typically requires downloading third-party scanning apps. Issuers also need a centralized portal to generate QR codes, set expiration parameters, and monitor scan logs securely.
As the Solo Full-Stack Developer, I developed the complete solution: • Backend & Database: Built REST APIs with Node.js/Express.js and designed PostgreSQL schemas on Supabase to manage QR codes, verification logs, and data exports (CSV/JSON). • Auth & Security: Implemented JWT and bcrypt for admin authentication, rate limiting (100 req/15 min), and Helmet HTTP security headers. • In-Browser Scanner: Integrated @zxing/library for direct webcam and mobile camera scanning without installing third-party apps. • Frontend: Built responsive interfaces with React 19, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Zustand. • Deployment: Deployed to Vercel connected to Supabase PostgreSQL.
• Successfully deployed to production on Vercel and Supabase, processing 10+ live verification requests. • Enabled instant document verification directly in mobile and desktop browsers without third-party app installations. • Maintained a stable cloud posture with JWT authentication and rate limiting to safeguard against brute force attacks.
